This is the best sign I've seen this year. It's a mineral site I started last year that didn't produce much, But the deer are definately using it this year. I'll be refreshing this spot up and then I'll move my camera to see what there is to see.
Phil and his boys came out today to do some stand moving and camera hanging of there own. The boys seemed to have fun, Lit'l P climbing trees and Big C finding tin cans with his metal detector. Phil took some stands down to get ready to move'm.
It's starting to feel like hunting season---Starting to get in the mood again. I spent several hours walking and scouting today. Even had a doe dead to rights at 15 yards with my Glock, she was lucky that she wasn't a hog or coyote.
I've got several tentative stand spots picked out. I've still got to get some help moving two lock-on stands and a ladder. The season will be here before we know it. Just 3 weeks left.
