As I come in from hunting my wife and kids, especially my oldest, always ask if I seen anything. Well like a lot of hunters in the south that answer is often "NO". When I give them my answer my family loves to proceed to tell me about all the deer they saw in the back yard while I was in a tree seeing nothing.
They also tell me of all the deer they see while I'm working. My wife's even been known to call me at work to tell me of a buck grazing in the back yard. I finally got my oldest to keep a log for me so I can at least pattern them. I don't know if it will help or not.
